While having a brief visit to Colorado, me and an acquaintance were observing the fourth of July fireworks being set off by surrounding towns. We weren't in a town but on the outskirts of a town away from light pollution. This is when a cluster of lights that appeared to form a triangle but seemed to shift appeared on the horizon for about a minute but then vanished.
