I saw a giant UFO, along with smaller orbs early this morning in Silverthorne, CO. And I got it on video.
Due to a few reasons, I went out for a hike extra early this morning. I made it only about 3/4 of a mile into the forest and got to a clearing where I could look west. The time is roughly 4:30 a.m. with an elevation around 9,900 feet. I was looking roughly towards Loveland Pass & the Eisenhower Tunnel if you know the area. I was hiking on the Willow Creek Trail, right where the trail crosses a bit field of boulders.
Anyways, I immediately spot this giant object in front of me. It takes me a second to register that this isn't anything on the side of the mountain (I don't think). I've driven up the pass and through the tunnel countless times in day and night and I've never seen that kind of lighting. It's just hovering there, completely still. Solidly white/amber, with a little red in the center and it looks like a bit of green, although I didn't see that with my own eye, just on the playback.
Luckily I have my camera, so I start to record. It's dark, so I was shooting in f 5.6, 1/30 shutter, and 1000 ISO. There isn't too much noise, but it's shaky because I'm zooming my lens all the way in to 140mm.
Then I spot other objects below the original, and slightly to the right. There's a white/amber light, with red lights that zoom in and out of it, it seems. Sometimes the red lights would turn into a formation, sometimes they would appear and disappear with no pattern or predictability.
Really not sure what I saw. The objects down and to the right are small enough where they could be planes or helicopters. But that other thing...the camera lens doesn't do it justice. It was massive, and just held there. I was seeing it from maybe 15 miles away so I can't get any exact measurements.
I was trying to think of what it could be...equipment above the tunnel maybe? But something that big I would have seen on my drive back through, but there was nothing on the mountains that would put off a light that strong.
